Betty Joyce (Bayouth) Walls
February 16, 1929 ~ July 20, 2012

Betty Bayouth was born on February 16, 1929 to Frank Ed and Fodie Bayouth in Barnsdall, Oklahoma and passed away July 20, 2012 in Wellston, Oklahoma.

Raised in Snyder, Texas where she attended high school, Betty continued her education at Texas Women's University in Art/Music at Denton, Texas.

She was a prominent realtor in Shawnee for many years, serving as president of the Shawnee Board of Realtors in 1976 and 1977.

She was a member of the Immanual Baptist Church in Shawnee.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Fodie and her, brother Dr. Ed Frank Bayouth.

She is survived by her son John and his wife, Mary of Wellston; her grandchildren, Megan and Morgan of Wellston; her sister, Jackie Sonnenburg of Abilene, Texas and her brother, Dr. LaNoard and his wife, Kaye Bayouth of Weatherford, Texas.

A private family memorial service is scheduled for August 18, 2012 in Abilene, Texas.

Local arrangements were under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
