William “W.O.” Wallace passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 9, 2024, in Durant, Oklahoma, at the age of 96. He was born in Albion, Oklahoma on May 10, 1927, to Robert Luther and Emma Jewel (Parker) Wallace. He married the love of his life, Allene McKeehan on May 8, 1954, in Grand Prairie, Texas. They celebrated 55 years of wedded bliss until her passing in 2009.
W.O. was a forklift driver for over 30 years but was also a farmer and rancher who loved his cows. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Left behind to cherish W.O. are his children, son Boyd Wallace and wife Karen of Blue, Oklahoma, and his daughter Brenda Daniel and husband Kent of Durant, Oklahoma. He is also survived by his grandchildren Jessica Boes, Rebecca Branson and husband Spencer, Sarah Carter and husband Grayson, Lindsey Wallace, and Shane Wallace. Great grandchildren include Logan Vandenburg, Holden Wallace, Austin Boes, Cylas Daniel, Cannon Green, Ragan Green, Adalyn Russell, Shyla Denson, Brinlee Carter, Aeris Vandenburg, Finleigh Wallace, and Olivia Wallace, along with nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Preceding W.O. in death are his parents Robert and Emma, his beloved wife Allene, and his two sisters Ruby Lorance and Mary Jane Thomas.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at 2:00PM at the Blue Baptist Church in Blue, Oklahoma with Bro. Randy Lewis officiating.
