Shirley Dianne “Sis” (Barnes) Wallace

March 3, 1964 ~ June 13, 2021

Shirley “Sis” Dianne Wallace passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2021, at her home in Bartlesville, Oklahoma at the young age of 57. She was born to Donald “Don” Sylvester Barnes and Doylene “Doll” Kennedy Barnes on March 3, 1964, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Shirley worked as a certified nursing assistant and certified medical assistant in Hominy Nursing Home in Hominy, Oklahoma, and Frances Streitel Villa in Collinsville, Oklahoma. Outside of work, Shirley enjoyed reading, writing, singing and cooking, but what she loved most was spending time with her five grandchildren: Dalton, Jace, Joseph, Galeala, and Gracie.

She is preceded in death by both of her parents, Donald and Doylene Barnes.

Shirley is survived by two brothers: Donald “Bud” Barnes and his wife Beth of Denver, Colorado, and David Barnes of Bartlesville, her daughter JoAnna Hartman of Bartlesville, her daughter Jessica and her husband Jody Parsons of Caney, Kansas, and son Jonathon Wallace and his wife Autum of Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

A private family service will be held Saturday, June 19, 2021, for family and close friends to attend.
