Susan Joan Walker

Susan Joan Walker
July 31, 1957 ~ April 13, 2018

Susan Joan Walker, 60, got a head start on the eternal celebration April 13, 2018. She spent her last week at home surrounded by the love and care of her family and very close friends in Bartlesville OK.

She was born July 31, 1957 in Santa Paula, CA. After a romance that began at Filmore High School in CA, Susan married her best friend Geno Walker. After 42 years Geno still confesses she was the best wife a guy could have.

She was an incredibly devoted mother of 4 children, Amy Wivel and husband Aaron, Becke Rakes and husband Travis, Daniel Walker and wife Camille, and Shelby Willson and husband Kyle. She had 9 beautiful grandchildren, Hannah, Gabe, Paige, Rylee, Oliver, Finn, Killian, Tobin and August. She is also survived by her mother Janet Ming and stepfather Garlon Ming.

Susan loved the Lord, worshipping and praying daily. She loved working as a floral designer for Flowerland and had many other hobbies including sewing, writing, having her grandkids sleepover and of course, shopping.

The Family would like to thank Dr, Lajara-Nanson, the nurses of the 5th floor at Jane Phillips Hospital as well as the amazing nurses from Grace Hospice.
