Ruth Ann (McClain) Walker
January 12, 1931 ~ June 03, 2011

Ruth Ann Walker was born on January 12, 1931 to George R. McClain and Edith Allred McClain in Oklahoma City, OK. Ruth was married to Guilford Lee Smith and later married Roy Ellis Walker.

Ruth resided in Farmington, NM for several years then she moved to Guthrie, OK to spend the remainder of her life.

Ruth was preceded in death by her son Timothy Duane Smith. She is survived by her son Vernon Lee Smith and his wife Pat of Las Vegas, NV; another son Raymond Ellis Walker and his wife Dawn of Guthrie; daughter-in-law Tammy Smith of Edmond, OK; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

During her life she worked as a bank teller, manicurist, but above all else her most rewarding job was being a wonderful mother. Some of her favorite hobbies included beadwork, crafting, doll making, internet shopping, playing computer games, loving and spoiling her dogs, and spending quality time with her family. Ruth�s heart overflowed with love, strength, compassion, and determination. Her angelic qualities will be missed as well as remembered by all.

Ruth peacefully passed from this life on June 3, 2011 at her home in GUTHRIE to rest in her eternal home with our Heavenly Father Jesus Christ.

Memorial services will be held at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, June 9, 2011 at Mineral Wells Park, Guthrie. Arrangements are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.
