Lisa Ann Walker was born on October 1, 1970 in Frederick, Oklahoma to William “Lee” Walker and Linda (Farrell) Kirkmeyer. She passed away on April 5, 2017 at Norman, Oklahoma at 46 years 6 months and 5 days.

Lisa grew up in Chattanooga, Oklahoma before moving to Elk City, Oklahoma in 1980 where she graduated from Merritt High School in 1988 and then attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Oklahoma and received her degree in Bachelor of Education in 1993. After college, Lisa moved to Shawnee and started teaching at McLoud High School in 1993, teaching Spanish and film until retiring in 2013. She was married to Penny Lightcap on November 15, 2014. Lisa loved music, movies, reading and baseball.

She is preceded in death by her father Lee Walker, and wife Penny Lightcap.

She is survived by her mother Linda and Tom Kirkmeyer of Casper, WY., 2 brothers, Terry and Shelly Walker of Elk City, OK, Gary and Ginger Walker of Elk City, OK. Nieces and Nephew; Susan, Jodie, Kendra, Ashley and Justin, and host of other relatives and friends.
