Travis Waldrep
July 31, 1959 ~ December 3, 2023

Cherokee - It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Travis Waldrep announces his passing on December 3, 2023 in Dallas, Texas.

Travis was born on July 31, 1959 in Cleveland, Ohio. He was the beloved husband of Bessie, a devoted father to Nando and Lena, and the most wonderful grandfather to Erick, Ava, Orren, Grayson, Artie and Winny.

Known to his family as Poppy, he was an amazing and loving man who was known for his strong sense of humor, honesty, and dedication to his family. He was a loving husband and father who was always there for his family, no matter what. He was a hardworking man who was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Poppy was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, camping, and hunting. He was also an experienced Jack-of-all-trades, painter, and carpenter who tackled any and all problems head on with great success and attention to detail.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him and will be remembered for his kind heart, his infectious laugh, and his unwavering love for his family. He will be forever in our hearts. We will miss you, Poppy.
