September 22, 1949 ~ January 1, 2024

Michele Petrone Waldon passed from this life on January 1, 2024, at the age of 74 in Osage, Oklahoma.

Michele was born on September 22, 1949, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the daughter of James, Jr. and Clemintine (Derosa) Petrone. Michele grew up in Hallandale, Florida where she attended catholic school graduating from South Broward High School. Following high school Michele moved to San Diego, California and gained employment with a local insurance agency. During that time she met Richard Glenn Waldon and they were later united in marriage on October 4, 1980. Following their marriage Michele and Glenn, resided in Florida for a short time before returning to Oklahoma establishing their home in Hominy. Michele later began working at the Hominy Nursing Home where she was the Activities Director. In 2006, Michele retired and began doing what she loved most being a homemaker.

Michele enjoyed cooking holiday meals for her family and having cookouts on the fourth of July. She also enjoyed teaching her grandsons to draw and cook good Italian food. Michele enjoyed sitting in her recliner watching TV shows, especially Destination Truth and cooking shows. Some of Michele's hobbies included fishing, painting, drawing and crocheting.

Survivors include her husband Glenn of the home, two children Kenneth Waldon and wife Lysa, Christopher Waldon and Rayann Maddux; three grandsons Patrick, Rowdy, Michael and a host of other relatives and friends. Michele was preceded in death by her parents James, Jr. and Clemintine Petrone and one sister Alisha Petrone.

Memorial services will be held 3:00 pm, Saturday, January 6, 2024 at the Chapman-Black Funeral Home Chapel with Dusty Giles as the Life Celebrant.
