Muriel Faye “Baby Girl” Waldon was born on gameday, Saturday, October 25, 2003, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Chuffee and Keri Waldon Sr. BabyGirl passed away Sunday, June 4th, 2023 at her home. BabyGirl was a strong, confident, brave, outgoing and a very photogenic young woman. She never met a camera she didn’t like. Nor did she let anyone she came across refuse to take a pic with her. BabyGirl was a very loving and caring person, who fiercely loved all of her family and friends. BabyGirl was especially fond of her numerous nieces and nephews as well as her beloved dog, Fozzy.
Muriel was a member of the Muscogee Creek Nation with lineage extending to the Lakota and Arapaho tribes respectively.
BabyGirl is preceded in death by her grandmother Muriel Wakolee, grandfathers, Jerry Scott and George Fixico, aunt, Kim Scott, uncles, Tishomingo Waldon and Timothy Buckley and twin niece & nephew Brooklynn and George Sanders.
Survivors include parents, Chuffee and Keri Waldon, Sr; 4 sisters, Kera, Cindy, Peggy and Lillian; brothers, Thomas, John, Cameron, Micco and Chuffee Waldon, Jr; aunts, Aloma, Hannah, and Elizabeth; uncle,Charlie, maternal grandmother, Eugenia Holahta and paternal grandfather, David Wakolee.
The family has requested, in lieu of flowers, please donate to the GoFundMe account set up to help cover funeral expenses.
Wake Service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at Hitchitee United Methodist Church in Seminole with service following at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 8, 2023 with Reverend Winston Manning officiating, under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
