Linda Eileen (Reid) Walcott

Linda Eileen (Reid) Walcott
October 28, 1950 ~ June 14, 2025

Linda Eileen (Reid) Walcott passed away on June 14th, 2025, in Andover, Kansas at the age of 74. She was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma to loving parents, Charles and Eileen (Goldsmith) Reid. Linda was one of 2 children. She was a trained CNA and devoted her working life to supporting those who needed it.

Linda’s family will be putting together a memorial for her on August 12th at 5:00pm. Cremation services for Linda are being provided by Grace Memorial Chapel of Ponca City.

Linda was a loving and caring woman. Her heart was open to her family and those she loved for anything they may need. She loved without judgement and never hesitated to help those in need. Her family will not be the same without her. And their appreciation of her will live on forever. More than anything Linda loved to spend time doting on her grandkids and great grandkids. They were pride and joy. She loved to travel with her grandson, and any chance she got to explore what the world had to offer. She spent time in Branson, Missouri, explored the Grand Canyon and had so many more adventures. She had a deep enjoyment of the outdoors and loved getting to spend a quiet moment fishing basking in nature. She also cared deeply for her dog and her cats, spoiling them when she could. Her favorite flowers were roses and sunflowers, and her favorite color was blue. Linda believed that life carried on when we leave our physical bodies behind and spent time reading scriptures with her trusted friends.

Those left behind Linda’s memory are her brother, Richard Reid; her daughters, Belinda Battles, Michelle Sewell, and Sandy Walcott; and her grandchildren, Colt Sewell, Brea Battles, Brent Battles, Kimberly Battles, Kiley Battles, and Hope Rodriguez; and her great grandchildren as well. Linda was preceded in death and goes on to join her parents.

Linda would have wanted everyone to know that though her time has come to a close, she enjoyed every minute that she got to spend with her family and friends. She lived a long full life, filled with meaning and love. Remember to tell everyone you love them, you never know when things can change.

Memories and condolences can be left for the family in our online guest registry at gracememorialchpel.net.
