Burlin Dale Walck, 74, of Blanchard, died Sunday, September 1, 2013 in Norman. The son of Burl Delos Walck and Hazel (Harper) Walck, he was born September 12, 1938 in Shattuck, Oklahoma. Burlin was baptized at the Christian Church in El Reno at an early age. He worked for many years as a telegrapher for the Santa Fe Railroad and later worked as a truck driver until his retirement. In his spare time, Burlin enjoyed playing cards, dominoes, and solitaire. He also enjoyed carpentry, woodworking, and tinkering with machinery and trucks. His greatest enjoyment came from spending time with his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Pamella Walck.

Burlin is survived by two daughters, Debby Stokes and her husband, Anthony, of Tuttle, and Mici Presley of Tuttle; one son, Ronald Walck and his wife, Chunha, of Kansas; five grandchildren, Justin, Maxwell, and John Walck of Kansas, Sara Presley of Tuttle, and Kaylynn Brown and her husband, Kyle, of Moore; one great grandchild, Jaidyn Brown, and one more on the way; two sisters, Roberta Morse and her husband, Otto, of Newcastle and Darlene Faires and her husband, Frank, of Blanchard; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial service will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, September 5, 2013 at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com
