September 17, 1960 ~ June 3, 2020 (age 59)

Ruthie L. Wadkins, 59, of Seminole, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at her home.

She was born September 17, 1960 to Lowell and Eileen “Ruth” (Howe) Lee in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Ruthie was raised in Oklahoma City and graduated with the class of 1978 from Capitol Hill High School.

She worked as a Certified Nurse’s Aide most of her adult life.

Ruthie enjoyed collecting pennies, going to the casino and spending time with her family. Her grandchildren were the focal point of her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Wadkins; son, Jimmy L. Wadkins; father, Lowell Lee; 1 sister, Donna; and 3 brothers, Lowell, Domer and Paul.

Survivors include her 2 daughters, Amanda and Chris Trammell of Center Ridge, AR and Jamie and James Leonard of Seminole, OK; 1 son, Christopher Lee of Wewoka, OK; 6 grandchildren, Jessey, Ashlei, Joel, Jimmy, James and Jasmine; her mother, Ruth Lee; 6 sisters, Angel, Lois, Jackie, Darlene, Sherry and Daisy; many nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.

Memorial Service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 8, 2020 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Clint Dawkins, Sharon Baptist Church officiating under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
