Jimmie Lee Wade, 81, of Cinco Ranch, West Houston, Texas, completed his life on Monday, May 29, 2017. Jim was born in Coffeyville, Kansas on November 4, 1935, to Claudine Hickson Wade and Robert Leroy Wade.
Jim grew up in Bartlesville, Oklahoma through the sixth grade. He graduated from Phillips High School in Phillips, Texas, and was highly involved in band activities throughout high school. He furthered his education by attending Frank Phillips College, West Texas State University and Southern Methodist University.
Jim married the love of his life, Nancy Jane McKee, in 1955, and they enjoyed 53 years of marriage. Their marriage produced three children. Jim became employed with Phillips Petroleum Co., with the majority of time in the Purchasing Dept. Jim retired after 34 years of service. During his employment he and his wife lived in Borger, Bartlesville, Sweeny, Brazoria, Lake Jackson, The Woodlands and Cinco Ranch (West Houston).
Jim was predeceased by his wife Nancy on February 3, 2009. Later, Jim met Phyllis Kay Corley. Their love bloomed quickly and in 2010, he married his beloved wife, Phyllis Kay Corley Wade, and they made their home in Cinco Ranch. The next six years brought great happiness to each other. Phyllis died unexpectedly on January 20, 2016.
Jim's interests included firearms (NRA Member), knives, open wheel racing, love of automobiles and working with stained glass.
Jim is survived by his two sons and a daughter, Randy and his wife Angela, Mark and his wife Tracy, Stacy Klaus and her husband David; five grandchildren, Mathew, Amanda, Derek, Molly Margaret and Fletcher; two great grandsons, Max and Castiel Klaus; and two brothers-in-law, Steve and Tony McKee.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cathedral of St. Matthias Reformed Episcopal Church, 4142 Dayflower, Katy, Texas 77449.
