Harrel Lee Waddle

Harrel Lee Waddle
January 15, 1944 ~ April 5, 2018

Harrel Lee Waddle passed from here April 5, 2018 to joyously join the Lord. He was surely greeted by his beloved wife, Dixie, whom he has longed to see for over ten years. We who remain cherish the gift he was to us and look forward to the day we are all reunited in Christ.

Harrel Lee Waddle was the youngest of Guy and Edna Waddle of Vici, Oklahoma. As a teenager, he moved to Woodward and met the love of his life, Dixie Dodd. They married in 1963 and had two daughters. Their home was filled with love and thoughtfulness, always taught by his good example. He owned Waddle Plumbing and was later Dixies partner in Waddle Landscape Design. He was a Golden Rule kind of guy and gave the utmost in quality service. He happily and sacrificially served his family even to the end. He leaves us with a sweet legacy of integrity and unconditional love, and he will be greatly missed!!

He is survived by his brother, Herbert Waddle; daughters and sons-in-law, Tina and Terry Sorrells, Sherri and Mark Swank; grandchildren, Ashley Frusher, Christine Swank, Garrett Swank; great-granddaughter, Kadence Frusher. He was preceded by his parents, Guy and Edna Waddle; his brother, Howard Waddle; sisters, Pauline Swenn and Juanita Roots.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Plains Indians and Pioneer Museum with the funeral home accepting the donations.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 14, 2018 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel. A private family burial will be at a later date.
