Martha Ann (Bogle) Waddell

Ann (Bogle) Waddell passed away on December 25, 2016. She was born on February 8, 1937 in Neosho, Missouri to James R. Bogle and Virgie L. (Murphy) Bogle.

She is survived by her husband Richard Waddell; daughter Leanna Loucks and husband Mark Loucks; son Marc Waddell and wife Christy Waddell; granddaughters Summer Waddell, Savanah Waddell, Sierra Waddell, and Hayden Loucks; and five great grandchildren; and a brother Norman Bogle and wife Betty Bogle.

Preceding her in death were her parents, sister Patricia House, sister Margaret Dotson, brother Merle Marble, and sister Irene Muffley Hayes.

Martha grew up in California and Arizona. She graduated from Peoria, Arizona High School and then attended Kansas State at Pittsburg.

She had a strong interest in politics, and was active for many years in the League of Women Voters. She later served as chair of the Washington County Democratic Party. Still later, she turned her attention to religion, and became active in the Bartlesville First United Methodist Church. She served as a Stephan Minister, and taught a Bible study class for many years.

Arrangements are under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory. A memorial service is scheduled for Thursday at 2 pm in the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel. Instead of flowers, please donate to The Journey Home at http://thejourneyhomeok.com/
