Larry Vines, age 68 of Colbert, Oklahoma passed away on June 13, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family. Larry was born on May 13, 1957, in Noble, Louisiana to parents Hiley and Mary (Estes) Vines. He graduated from Zwolle High School in Louisiana and worked as a mechanic most of his life. He moved to Bryan County in 2008, from Meridan Mississippi and later married Constance Taylor on March 24, 2015. He loved working on cars, fishing and spending time with family and friends.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents Hiley and Mary Vines; son Aaron “Skooter” Kirkman; and brothers Johnny Wilson and Jack Goodwin.
Larry is survived by his wife Constance Taylor of the home; children Matthew Vines and wife Sarah of Colbert, OK, Ashely Vines of Calera, OK, Darlette “DJ” Wheeler of Houston, TX, and Chris Vines and wife Molly Henly of Colbert, OK; grandchildren Haylee Vines, Lilly Taylor, Erin Henley, Harley Vines, Thomas Vines, Seth Owens, and Austin Taylor; brother Micheal Martin of Madill, OK; sister Teresa Neal and husband Kevin of Meridian, MS; niece Marsha Warren of Nellieburg, MS; nephew Harold Wilson of Tullos, LA and numerous extended family and friends.
