Otto Christopher Vick, father of Roger Mills County Attorney Leroy Vick, died at his home in Carlsbad, New Mexico, Friday March 29, 1957.
Mr. Vick was a pioneer of Roger Mills county, having resided in the Square Top community for a number of years.
For the past ten years he had resided at Otis, near Carlsbad.
Otto Christopher Vick was born February 6, 1874 at Connersville, Arkansas.
He was a Baptist and a member of the Oklahoma Farmers Union.
Vick moved to Oklahoma Territory at the age of 19. He settled near Lexington and stayed there for about eight years.
Later, he moved to Cheyenne, where he married the former Della Maud Fullmer in March, 1909.
Vick is survived by his widow; a son, Leroy of Cheyenne; two daughters, Mrs. T. Bannister of Otis; and Mrs Addie Hill of Borger, Texas; three brothers, four sisters, seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Burial in Sunset Gardens Cemetery, Carlsbad, New Mexico.
