Otto Vaughn, son of Wallace and Mary (Tehee) Vaughn, was born on July 14, 1932 in Christie, Oklahoma and passed from this life on Saturday, February 11, 2017 in Titanic, Oklahoma at the age of 84 years.
He enjoyed many things in life. He was a carpenter by trade to provide for his family. His favorites were fishing, traveling (especially his trips to Colorado) and watching westerns. Otto was an expert at rolling his own tobacco for his smoking enjoyment. He worked for IBM and went on to be a forest ranger while he was living in California. He thoroughly enjoyed logging while staying in Colorado and it was one of his favorite jobs throughout life. He loved his family and always looked forward to playing with his grandbabies. He was a warm, thoughtful and caring man who will be missed by all.
Otto was preceded in death by his mom: Mary Leach, dad: Wallace Vaughn, first wife and mother of his children: Trudy, daughters: Brenda Blakely and Kendra Vaughn, son: Tracy Vaughn and granddaughter: Melonie Berry.
A loving family survives him. They include his wife: Anne Vaughn of the home in Titanic, son: Mitchell Vaughn and wife Patty of Wichita, Kan., daughter: Sue Berry and husband John of Stilwell, 11 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren, brother: Larry Vaughn and wife Debra of Muskogee, nieces and nephews. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
