Christa Mae Vaughan, resident of Santa Clara [CA] passed away on May 22, 2011, after a brief illness.
She was a loving wife and mother who will be deeply missed.
Christa was a native of Oklahoma, born October 31st, 1932.
She lived in Santa Clara for forty five years, during which she was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church and of the Santa Clara Woman's Club.
Christa worked for several years during the 1970's at the Santa Clara County Registrar of Voters office and worked as an accountant with several electronic firms until the early 1990's.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Jerry Vaughan, children, Janet Polson of Santa Rosa, Greg Vaughan of Arroyo Grande, Eleanor Kay Manzanares of Bridgeville, Delaware, and Patricia Hunka of Hooper, Utah, and by nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Christa's life was honored with a memorial service Friday, May 27th, at 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, 3731 Forbes Avenue, Santa Clara.
