Charles Marvin Vassar, 80, passed from this life on May 22, 2015 in Tryon, Oklahoma.
Charles was born on July 19, 1934 in Tryon, Oklahoma to Clarence Charles and Dollie Gray Vassar.
He married Mary Lee Vassar on January 5, 1957 in Drumright. They were together until her death on May 6, 2002.
Charles attended school in Tryon. He was a welder by trade.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Dollie Vassar; and his daughter, Janie Vassar.
Charles is survived by sons, Tony Foulks and Tony Vassar; four grandchildren; four brothers; and one sister.
His memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 1, 2015 at Strode Funeral Home Chapel. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
