Roger Ellis VanScoy, of Enid, tragically passed away at the age of 67 on January 23, 2025. Roger was born on November 26, 1957 to Charles and Gertie VanScoy in Marlow, Oklahoma.
In his spare time, Roger loved to golf, fish, play his drums, and play pool. Roger was known for putting a smile on your face with his jokes and sense of humor and would help anyone who asked. He loved his children and grandchildren immensely and will so greatly be missed.
Roger is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Eddie, and his brother Gary. He is survived by his sister, Theresa Rieger, and his three children: son Tyler VanScoy, wife Kate, and granddaughter Elliot; daughter Emily Cartwright, husband Alex, and three grandchildren Olivia, Mila, and Owen; son Tanner VanScoy, wife Sarahi, and grandson Leon.
A celebration of life is being held for Roger on Sunday, February 2, 2025 at Chandler’s Bourbon and Billiards from 12 to 4.
