Victor Valdez was born April 26, 1955 in Kress, Texas to Enriquita and Albert Valdez. He passed away January 15, 2016 at Sayre, Oklahoma at the age of 60 years, 8 months and 19 days.
Victor was born mentally challenged but overcame many obstacles in his life. He lived with his mother in Amarillo for over 30 years. After she passed away, Victor moved to Sayre in March of 2011 to live with his sister, Denise. He loved to draw, spending time with animals and being outdoors.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 infant sisters and 2 brothers, Frank and John.
He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Albert Valdez and wife, Karen, North Carolina, Luis Valdez, Amarillo, Texas, Walter Valdez, Amarillo, Texas, Linda Valdez, Amarillo, Texas, Yolanda Morris and husband, Doug, Amarillo, Texas, David Valdez, Colorado, Bobby Valdez, Arizona, Dellissa Melvyn, Amarillo, Texas, and Denise King and husband, Robert, Sayre, Oklahoma; many nieces, nephews, other, relatives and a host of friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 11:30 am at The Kingdom Hall officiated by Neil Callahan. Condolences can be made online at www.whineryfs.com
