Your faithful servant, Frank Underwood, went to his Heavenly home on November 13, 2024, in Durant, Oklahoma. He was born on October 3, 1941, in Puals Valley, Oklahoma to the late Harold Lawson Underwood and Edith Viola Wilburn Underwood.
Frank served in the United States Army for six years as a drill sergeant. Over the years he owned and operated Underwood Datsun dealership in Ardmore, Oklahoma, worked for the Chickasaw Nation in Thackerville, Oklahoma and the Department of Commerce in Ada, Oklahoma. He married Janice Lee Beene on August 10, 1985, in Ardmore, Oklahoma. They had a wonderful life together for 39 years. After retirement in 1999 he started volunteer work for the First Baptist Church of Madill where he was a faithful member. He volunteered to work for the Bread of Life, the clothing house and other needed places within the church. He loved his church family and served wherever he was needed. Frank was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and was very special to his extended family and friends. We love you, Frank, and you will be truly missed.
Frank was preceded in death by two stepsons: Danny Harrison and Eddie Harrison
Frank is survived by Wife Janice Underwood, Kingston, Oklahoma; Son Tim Underwood and wife Jennie, Sugarland, Texas; Daughter Trae Underwood Turner, Nellysford, Virginia; Granddaughter Lexi Underwood, Sugarland, Texas; Brother Don Ricky Underwood and wife Brenda, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
Memorials may be made to the Bread of Life Ministries through the First Baptist Church, Madill, Ok
