Everett Lee Underwood, 69, of Tulsa, OK, left this life on October 13, 2022, in Tulsa, OK. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, October 21, 2022, at Trout Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Tom Howard officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W. Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK 74604.
Everett was born on September 6, 1953, in Ponca City, OK, to Everett Clarence and Lillian Fern (Delaney) Underwood. He graduated first in his class in 1971. He then graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1975. Everett later worked as an accountant and in Information Technology for Dollar Thrifty Rental Cars.
Everett loved Oklahoma State University his Alma Mater, Houston Astros and the Dallas Cowboys. He also enjoyed bowling, golf, skiing, and fishing. He had a great sense of humor, enjoyed spending time with friends and having a good time. He especially loved his cat, Kinky, who he adored and gave Everett a reason to smile everyday.
Everett is survived by: his sister, Mary Sneed & husband, Darrell, of Perry, OK; niece, Jody Sim and her husband, Craig, of Perry, OK and Darra Sneed of Perry, OK; grand-nephews, Nathanial Sim and Jacob Sim; grand-niece, Kay Ann Sneed and his cat, Kinky. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Mike Fuller, Orrin Winters, Nathaniel Sim, Jacob Sim, Craig Sim and Darrell Sneed. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals), PO Box 96929, Washington, DC 20090-6929
