Maria Lena Twitchell passed from this life on September 2, 2023, at the age of 75, in Cleveland, Oklahoma.
Maria was born on August 30, 1948, in Barberton, Ohio, the daughter of Clyde and Dorothy Wykoff. Maria grew up and attended school in Barberton, later graduating from Barberton High School. Soon after high school, she was united in marriage to Tommy Morton Beebe, Sr. They resided in Germany, Georgia, and Oklahoma due to Tommy being in the military and several other locations. In 1980, following a divorce from Tommy, Maria moved to Ft. Benning, Georgia, and worked as a taxicab driver for several years. Maria then moved to Missouri and began working on the assembly line at Emerson Technology, building air conditioners. She later started working at Midwest Inn as a housekeeper before being promoted to manager. In 2017, Maria moved to Cleveland, where she was manager of the Victorian Inn.
Maria always enjoyed being outdoors, camping, and fishing. She likes coloring as well. Talking on the telephone for long periods was also things she liked doing.
Survivors are her two children, Tommy Beebeand his wife Donnna Seale , Alabama, and Michelle Lowther of Virginia; two siblings, Laura Hengoed and her husband Bob and Bob Wykoff; daughter in law Maria Lena Twitchell; and four grandchildren, Donna and Savannah Beebe, Danny Hodges and Kimberly Lowther, two great grandchildren Emma and Colton Hodges. Maria was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Dorothy Wykoff, son Christopher Michael Beebe, and a brother, Mark Wykoft.
