Janet Katherine Turney, the daughter of Lee and Sarah Ostrander, was born March 25, 1936, in Chicago, Illinois. She departed this life August 13, 2008, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the age of 72 years, 4 months and 18 days.
She was employed by Petersons Industries as a line worker until her retirement. Janet enjoyed being a grandmother and loved her grandchildren very much.
Preceding her in death wre her parents and an infant son; Victorial Ostrander.
Her surviving family includes her children, Tony Martin and wife, Stephanie, of Westville, OK, Pat McKinney, of Jonestown, IL, Robert Lee Ostrander, of Memphis, TN and Maria Pruitt, of Westville, OK, grandchildren; David Pike, Sarah Pike, Petie Pike, Bonnie Pruitt, Robbie Pruitt, Chase Martin, Chandler Martin, Tyler Pettigrew, Haley Pettigrew, Trey Martin, Tobey Martin, numerous other grandchildren and a host of loved ones and friends.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Final arrangements were entrusted to Hart Funeral Home of Westville.
