Victor Earl Turner, Jr., 64, of Mustang, died Sunday, December 16, 2012 at his home. The son of Polly (Fritz) Turner and Victor Earl Turner, Sr., he was born September 2, 1948 in Atlanta, Georgia.
Victor was a United States Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War where he served two tours of duty as a tailgunner.
He was a member of the Tuttle Christian Church. In his spare time, Victor enjoyed building and flying model airplanes. He also built two experimental aircraft that he piloted. Victor built and operated ham radios, communicating only in Morse code.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Josie.
Victor is survived by his wife, Sherrin Turner of Mustang; one son, Josh Turner of California; one sister, Marsha Ash of Arizona; two brothers, Mark Turner of Georgia and Eric Turner of Arizona; and many other loved ones and friends.
The family will hold a memorial service at 1:00 PM, Saturday, December 22, 2012 at the Tuttle Christian Church. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
