The funeral for Mannie Jake Turner, 81 will be at 10:30 AM Monday January 23, 2023 at Hennessey Church of Christ officiated by Regan Walters. Arrangements are by Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home. The family will receive guests at the funeral home from 5:00-7:00 PM Sunday January 22, 2023.
Mannie was born on February 2, 1941 in Runnels County, Texas to Marvin and Johnnie Stubblefield Turner and died Friday January 20, 2023 at his home in Hennessey.
Mannie married Kathleen Terry in Norton, Texas on June 27, 1965.
Mannie is survived by his wife Kathy of the home; two sons Dale Turner of Dover, Mitchell Moffett of Show Low, Arizona; two granddaughters Chelsey Hux, Ashley Muns; one grandson Hayden Turner, and eleven great-grandchildren, Breahnna Hux, Danica Hux, Aurora Hux, Axel Hux, Ember Hux, Jeylynn Muns, Blaze Muns, Olive Muns, Evey Muns, Thorin Muns and Leo Muns.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son Danny Turner, one brother and three sisters.
