Harvey Lee Turner

Harvey Lee Turner
August 15, 1942 ~ February 02, 2018

A Celebration of Life for Harvey Lee Turner, age 75 years, of Drummond, is 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 10, 2018, at Christian Church of the Covenant in Enid. Reverend Pat Sutherlin will officiate.

The family will receive friends 6-7:00 p.m. Friday, February 9, 2018, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Harvey "Big T" Turner was born August 15, 1942, to John and Virginia (Horsley) Turner at home in Ames. He left his earthly life on February 2, 2018. Harve lived in and around Ames and Drummond, graduating from Drummond High School with the class of 1960.

He worked for his father on a custom harvest crew. He later started his own businesses, Big T Trucking and Harve's Dozer Service. He worked in the oilfield and pipeline running heavy equipment. He was especially known for his skills with a dozer.

He taught his daughters to ride minibikes and motorcycles at a young age, and always told them there isn't a job that you can't do as well or better than any man. Of course that was as he showed us how to drive a tractor so he wouldn't have to do the mowing anymore.

He liked a good joke but loved a bad one. He was a smooth two-step partner and loved having fun with his friends and family. He was the leader of the Crown Royal Gang. He was a wizard at Sudoku. He will be missed by many.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Virginia Turner, and his sister Lana Seibert.

He leaves behind two daughters, Toni (John) Mackey and Paula (Paul) Martin; three grandsons, Larry Becker (Rachel Wesely), Landon (Brooke) Martin and Logan Mackey; five granddaughters, Taylor Gordon (Chris Rooney), Katie Martin (Tyler Hayslett), Caylee Mackey, Brianna Mackey, and Johnny Mackey; five great-grandchildren, McKinley, Sawyer, Laylah, Kason, and Baby Rooney on the way; two nephews, Shane Seibert and Jim (Sheryl) Seibert, and one niece Pam (Mike) Kvasnicka; and his brother-in-law Bob Seibert; as well as many other family and friends.

Memorials in Harve's name may be made to Hospice Circle of Love, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.

Condolences may be made and services viewed online at www.LadusauEvans.com.
