Troy Christopher Tryon was born November 7, 1967 in Pueblo,
Colorado to Sandy Dean Gonacha and Virginia Marie Tryon. He passed away in
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on November 9, 2014 at the age of 47 years and 2
days.
Troy’s younger years were spent in Pueblo, Colorado then Canadian, Texas
until the family moved to Elk City, Oklahoma in 1982. He Graduated from Elk
City High School in 1986, then went on to college and received an Associates
degree in Culinary Arts. In his short but full life,
Troy worked in the oil field for several years then went on to work at
Martin Funeral Home for 16 years. He was married for a short time to Sherry
Johnson. Troy was currently working at Pizza Hut when he was diagnosed with
lung cancer.
He was proceeded in death by his father, Stanly Dean Gonacha and his
grandparents, Merwin Arthur and Mary Irene (Soloich) Tryon.
Troy is survived by the light of his life, his daughter, Shelby Galllagher and husband, DJ; his loving mother, Virginia (Ginger) Habekott and stepfather, Lester Habekott; brother, Tracy Tryon; sister, Michelle Habekott; two nephews, Drayton and Brendon Stenson, a stepson and stepdaughter that he raised, Dalton Spinelli and Tracie Brewer, and a host of other family and friends.
