Memorial services for Michael True will be held on Thursday, July 5, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home Chapel in Hugo, OK. Michael passed away at his home on Sunday, July 1, 2012, in Hugo, Oklahoma, at the age of 64.
Michael was born on December 26, 1947 in Upland, CA the son of Cecil and Helen (Gamble) True. Michael had served his country by serving in the United States Army during the Viet Nam War. He married Ema Kerr on September 15, 1996 in Redlands, CA. He had lived in this area for the past sixteen years, after moving here from Upland, CA. Michel had worked as the maintenance manager at the Choctaw Casino in Grant, OK. Michael was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Kenneth True and Greg True.
Michael is survived by his wife, Ema of the home; one son, Shea True and wife Rebecca and kids Kasandra and Kandi of Hugo, OK; daughters, Noel Hammons of Hugo, OK, Natalie Payne of Austin, TX, Nicki Blanchard of Paoli, OK, and Christine Galvez of Chino Hills, California; one sister, Cecile Dziewit of California; and his five grandchildren that he loved and adored, Abby Payne, Evan and Patrick Hammons, Marlayna and Marisa Galvez.
