Otis passed away on May 14, 2011, He was born in Guthrie, OK. in 1937.
In 1939 his family moved to Anadarko, OK where he graduated with the Class of 1955. He was active in Student Council, 4-H, and FFA. After graduating from college he served in the U.S. Army from 1955-1962.
Otis came to Brevard County, FL, in 1966 and worked for General Dynamics. He later went to work for Pan Am.
Otis loved to travel. He worked in several countries around the world, including Africa, Thailand, Venezula, Iran, Iraq, and Saudit Arabia.
He still maintained friendships with many of his old friends. After retirement, Otis was a dedicated part time employee of Fidelity Bank of Floria and Atlantic Culvert, Cocoa, FL, where he was much loved.
He was a devout, life long Christian and member of Winter Gardens Primitive Baptist Church, Winter Gardens, FL. He opened his home weekly for Bible Study.
Otis was most happy with family and cheering on his College Football - his Oklahoma Sooners and Florida Gators.
He is survived by his loving wife, Zelma E Trotter; his brothers, Richard (Cynthia) of Long Beach, CA, Stephen Trotter (Cathy) of Prescott, AZ,; his son, Scott (Laurie) of Titusville, FL, his daughters, Georganne Shumans (Eric) Lynn Trotter of Altamonte Springs, FL.
Other children. Harry Hanley (Lisa), Melbourne, Australia, Nancy Madigan (Dan) of Orlando, FL, Margaret Wehner (Alan) Cocoa, Fl and Jackie Handley (deceased) of Merritt Island, FL; 13 grandchildren, 10 great- great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Otis will be forever remembered and missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation was Friday evening, May 20th. Services were Saturday, May 21st. Interment with military honors was in Brevard Memorial Cemetary, Cocoa, FL.
