Sheldon Lee Trimble of Olathe, KS, passed away May 6, 2017 at the age of
53 at home from an unexpected illness.
He was the son of Ronald and Erma
(Braams) Trimble of Bartlesville, OK.
Sheldon grew up in Bartlesville and graduated from Sooner High School in 1982 lettering in basketball. He then attended The University of Oklahoma in Norman, OK, obtaining a Bachelors degree followed by Central State University in Edmond, OK , obtaining a Masters degree in Business Administration. While in college he was a member of the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity. Sheldon worked a variety of jobs during his lifetime but was self employed at the time of his death.
Sheldon is survived by his brother Brent Trimble of Franklin, NE; aunt Marilyn Billingsley of Louisburg, KS; cousins Brad Billingsley and wife Heather of Caney, KS, Dr. John A. Billingsley and wife Tracey of Siloam Springs, AR, Scot Billingsley of Bartlesville, OK, and Mark Billingsley of Louisburg, KS, as well as multiple relatives in the Franklin, NE, area.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation was chosen to honor Sheldon's wishes.
The family will receive guests for a visitation from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Monday, May 15, 2017, at Penwell Gabel Funeral Home, 14275 Black Bob Rd., Olathe, KS 66062.
An interment will be held at a later date in Franklin, NE.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society , 1100 Pennsylvania Ave, Kansas City, MO 64105.
