Ronald David Treat, 74, passed from this life on January 14, 2018 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. His memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Strode Funeral Home in Stillwater.
Ronald was born in Wewoka Oklahoma on May 23, 1943 to Lonnie Lee and Vada Treat. He attended School in Wewoka graduating in 1961. He married Patsy Spurgeon on October 14, 1961 in Fort Jackson South Carolina and served in the U.S. National Guard with the 45th Division.
Ronald graduated from OSU with a Bachelors Degree in Agriculture in 1980. He finished his career of 37 years with NRCS as a State Water Quality Specialist. He loved to fish, hunt, and spend his time outdoors. He was a member of The Stillwater Bass Masters from 1991 to 2018, and past president two times. He was a loyal OSU Cowboy fan, a loyal supporter of the OSU girl's basketball, and a football season ticket holder.
Ronald was predeceased by his parents, a brother a sister and a grandson.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Patsy; two daughters Kay Lynn Ruoff of Broken Arrow, OK and Kristin Turner and husband Brent of Boise City, OK.; Grandchildren, Denton Turner, Jessica Gibson and Jennifer Cothran; 7 great grandchildren; three brothers, Jack Treat, Shawnee, Bob Treat, Norman and Bill Treat, Georgetown, Texas.
