Alvin” Lynn” Trantham was born on December 2, 1952, to Daniel O. Trantham and Wanda G. (Harris) Trantham in Casa Grande, Arizona. He left this earth for his heavenly home on Sunday, December 10, 2023. Lynn grew up in Pinal County, Arizona, and attended Stanfield Elementary School and Casa Grande Union High School.
He grew up working in the local cotton gins and well rigs in the Pinal County area. He also worked for Rain for Rent while living in Brawley California. After moving to Calera and then Armstrong, Oklahoma he began working for McCoy Tree Service as well as partnering with a friend in starting a tree service of their own. Lynn had a love for family, the outdoors, fishing, and hunting and enjoyed attending church services whenever possible. Lynn was known for having a big heart and his generosity to others.
Lynn was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Trantham, and his sister Beverly Trantham Bishop.
Lynn is survived by his mother, Wanda Trantham of the home in Kenefic, OK; his sisters Brenda Kammann (Fred), and sister Sandra Morrow all of Arizona City, AZ. Suzie Holmes (Mitch) of Casa Grande, AZ. his sister Shiela Garland (Richard) of Durant, and brother Mike Trantham of Kenefic. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews as well as his beloved cat JoJo and close friend Johnny Bryant.
The family has chosen cremation for Lynn and a memorial service is planned at a later date in Durant.
