Arthur Jerry Trammell was the son of Robert E. Lee "Bob" and Myra Snow Trammell. He was born August 8, 1891 in Indian Nation and departed this life on May 25, 1969, in Sacramento, California.
At an early age he made the Run with his parents and settled in the Eller Flat community near Durham. Later he moved to Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma where he grew to manhood.
Arthur, a veteran of World War I, served with the A.E.F. in France.
He moved to California in 1935 and had made his home there since.
He was retired from McClellan Air Force Base.
Arthur is survived by two sisters, Florence Rhoades of Sacramento; and Sallie Steere of Sayre; one brother, R. L. of Cheyenne; sixteen nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Clarence and Bryan; and an infant sister.
Arthur was laid to rest in the Sunset Lawn Cemetery in Sacramento.
