Harold passed away on May 24, 2021 at his residence in Skiatook. He was born on March 6, 1955 in Yuma, Arizona. Harold was raised in Pawhuska and Barnsdall, attending high school in Barnsdall. He married Jeanette Knight in 1973 and they had three children: Kim, Tim and Jennifer. Harold worked in the oilfield and for Flour Daniel Engineering as a traveling inspector for years, before retiring to be manager of the City Fountain Tavern in Skiatook. Harold lived a life full of unique experiences. He lived in a lakeside tent with his family for several summers, attended Bluegrass festivals everywhere, played drums in a band on a cruise ship, lived a hermit lifestyle for a brief time - living off the land, barefoot and crazy. He even went skydiving while in his sixties! He was a songwriter, karaoke singer and a lifetime lover of music, even polka! Harold had many friends here at home and from around the world.

Harold is survived by his three children: Kim Therrien and husband, Jim, of McCune KS; Tim Townley and Danielle, of Independence, KS; Jennifer Padilla and husband, Polo, of Beaver City, NE; grandsons: Scottie, Toby, Wesley, Travis, Sean, Elliott, Noah, Polito, David, Ruben and Ira, granddaughters: Shelby, Kimberly, MacKenzie, Gabriella and JJ; two great grandsons and four great granddaughters, eleven nieces and nephews; three brothers and three sisters: David and Tita Talbot of Tulsa, OK; Jack and Patricia Townley of Willows CA; Sharon and Humberto Gomez of Bartlesville, OK; Esther and Phil Adams of Independence, KS; JR Townley of Barndsall, OK; and Jeanie Townley of Fowler, Ks; a host of other family and many friends.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Peters-Stumpff Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by his Mother and Daddy, Leonard and June Burrow, a sister Vera Ruth and nephews Jason and Levi Adams.
