Carol Ann (Steddum) Tooman
July 4, 1940 ~ November 20, 2019

Carol Ann Tooman was born July 4, 1940 in Enid to Lucile Hart and Fred Steddum. Carol passed at her residence in Enid on November 20, 2019.

Carol was raised in Lamont, Oklahoma and attended Lamont High School. Carol married Bill Tooman October 29, 1964 in Enid, Oklahoma.

Carol was a beautician in Enid for many years and then worked for Corwin and Hauth. She also worked for H & J Services for many years. Carol was an avid Tole painter. She opened the Paintin' Place and taught classes and shared laughs with her beloved pupils. Carol also enjoyed her three Maltese dogs, Callie, Tico and Casper, as well as gardening and sitting by her pond and spending time with her family.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Lucile and Fred Steddum, three brothers, Wayne, Gary, and Keith Steddum and one sister, Janet Gaskill. Carol is survived by her husband Bill Tooman of Enid; her son, Mark Nicholas of Oklahoma City; daughter, Marla Spore of Roanoke, Texas; daughter, Traci Harris and husband Neil of Enid. Carol had six grand children, Danielle Covalt and husband Justin of Arcadia, Oklahoma; Scott Harris and fiancé, Lacey Belvin, of Enid; Brandon Harris and wife Shelbi of Enid, OK; and Lauren Spore of Plano, TX; Amber Ferguson and husband Scott of Enid; and Heather Haws of Green River, WY. "Granny Great" has four great grandchildren Riley Covalt, Madison Covalt, Elliott Ferguson and Braxton Haws.

Carol's funeral services will be held at Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service on November 23, 2019 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Stephenson Cancer Center through Sittsworth Funeral Service.
