A memorial service was scheduled Monday for Robert Joseph Tinkle, Sr., 53, who died October 14, 1992 at the Olivehurst home.
A Riverside native, he lived in the Yuba-Sutter area 45 years.
He was a retired foreman for Howard's Furniture Company.
He is survived by his wife, Rovina June Tinkle of Olivehurst; four sons, Thomas Oliver of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; James L. Oliver of Olivehurst; Robert Tinkle Jr. of San Pedro; and Mark Qualls of Marysville; four daughters, Lisa Holland and Betty A. Tinkle, both of Olivehurst; Terry Tinkle of Yuba City; and Roberta J. Tinkle of Marysville; two sisters, Myrna L. Craig and Sharon G. Parker, both of Marysville; his mother, Mary D. Parker of Marysville; and seventeen grandchildren.
He was preceded in death in 1984 by a sister, Shirley Jean Hill.
Services were at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Ellis Lake near the ballpark with the Rev. Gary Whiteley of New Life Assembly officiating.
Arrangements were under the direction of Lipp and Sullivan Chapel.
