Aaron Shawn Thornbrue peacefully left this world to his eternal home on June 22, 2019. He was born June 5, 1984 in Oklahoma City, OK.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Don Spence and Bobby Jorgenson whom he loved dearly and is now reunited with his grandparents Elmo and Barbara Thornbrue.

He is survived by his grandmothers, Judy Jorgenson and Vicki Spence; his mom and dad, Terresa and Bob McGuire; his beloved twin brother, Eric Thornbrue; sisters, Shelby Harjo and husband Michael, Krystle Smith, Whitney McGuire and Emmanuel, Amanda Johnson and husband Josh; brothers, Marco Torres, Tanner McGuire and Tonya, Levi McGuire and wife Amanda, Quinton McGuire and Laura, and Chris McGuire. He’s also survived by 12 nephews and 7 nieces – Carlos, Isabel, Renee, Gavin, Landon, Makynlee, Aubree, Wes, Tyler, Jade, Aniah, AC, Nick, Marcus, Tanner, Joseph, Elena, Jaxon and Julian, all of whom he loved dearly along with countless aunts, uncles, cousins, his Thornbrue family and many friends.

Aaron attended Oklahoma School for the Deaf graduating in 2003. He had many fond memories and gained lifelong friends at OSD.

Aaron enriched our lives in countless ways that we cannot fully express. He loved the TX longhorns, dancing, laughing, playing Wii, getting icy’s from 7-11, collecting keys and all things hunting related, loving on his dogs, and supervising all activities at the McGuire home – nothing happened there without his approval.

Aaron was blessed with an innocence that allowed him to live a life of happiness and joy. He has been reunited with his loved ones who left before him, including his beloved dog Tink.

Aaron’s celebration of life will be at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, June 29, 2019 at New Hope Church of Christ, 700 West 2nd Street in Edmond, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.

In lieu of flowers the family would request donations to Loving Hands Ranch in memory of Aaron. Donations can be mailed to PO Box 928, Sulphur, OK 73086.

There will not be any visitation.
