Celebration of life for Mikal Antonio Terrell Thompson, 25, formally of Lawton, will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Lawton First Assembly Church with Jaron Scott of Christ Church of Joplin officiating.
Mikal departed this life on April 4, 2023 in Willis Point, Texas.
He was born April 26, 1997 in Fort Sill, Oklahoma to Kevine Thompson and Chevette Scott. He was raised by Chevette and Isaac Crawford. He grew up in Lawton and attended Pat Henry Elementary, Tomlinson Jr High and graduated from Lawton High School. After high school he attended and graduated from Northwestern Oklahoma State University. He was a corrections officer and probation officer with DOC where he attended the CLEET and Academy. He recently moved to Fort Worth, Tx where he was employed as a mental health counselor for Tarrant County.
He had a passion for sports. He started playing football in second grade and played throughout college. Mikal also wrestled for MacArthur and Lawton High School. He loved playing his X-Box in his spare time and even more he loved his family.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather Jimmie Scott and Uncle Bobby Taylor.
Mikal is survived by his daughter Willow Thompson; his parents, Chevette Scott and Isaac Crawford; his brothers Malik Thompson, Marqual Graham; sisters, Madisyn Crawford, Skylar Crawford; his grandmothers Edwina Reddick-Scott, Josephine Crawford; his biological father Kevine Thompson and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
