Helen (Stephens) Arnold Thompson
May 12, 1964 - March 29, 2016

Helen Arnold-Thompson a resident of Cartwright, Oklahoma left this life in Plano, Texas and arrived in the arms of her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at the age of 51 years 10 months and 17 days. She was born in Tishomingo, Oklahoma to Luther A. “Red” and Ruby (St. Clair) Stephens. Helen married Allen Thompson in Calera, Oklahoma on March 27, 2010.

Helen was a member of The Harvest Hour PCG Church. She loved beautiful shoes and was always ready to add to her large collection. It gave her great pleasure to cook for her family and friends. Helen cherished time spent with family, she especially enjoyed anything she did with her grand babies.

Mrs. Thompson is survived by her; husband, Allen of the home; daughter, Jeannie Barfield and husband Jakeb of Bokchito, Oklahoma; sons, Nicholas Arnold of Mead, Oklahoma and Dan Arnold and wife Crystal of Ft. Worth, Texas; daughters, Brandy McCarter and husband Bart of Bokchito, Oklahoma, Deanna Craig of Arkansas, Amy Thompson of Durant, Oklahoma and Sherah Robinson of Flower Mound, Texas; sons, Matt Thompson of California and Timmy Callaway and wife Pam of Durant, Oklahoma; brothers, Luther Stephens, Jr. and Sue Trantham of Durant, Oklahoma, Anthony Stephens and wife Melody of Durant, Oklahoma and Rev. Tommy Stephens and wife Donna of Durant, Oklahoma; sisters, Patsy Stewart and husband Willie of Alvarado, Texas, Linda Capes and husband George of Durant, Oklahoma, Jenny Shannon and husband Kenny of Durant, Oklahoma, Mary Cochran and husband Glen of Durant, Oklahoma and Tammy Owen and husband Paul of Leonard, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews; 20 beloved grandchildren and 6 precious great-grandchildren. Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by her; parents, Luther A. and Ruby L. Stephens; 1st husband, Dan Arnold; grandson, Mason Barfield; and granddaughter, Shaila Mowles. 

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6-7:00 PM Friday, April 1, 2016 at the Holmes Coffey Murray Funeral Home in Durant. A chapel service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, April 2, 2016 at the Holmes Coffey Murray Chapel with Mike Daniels and Ronny Ford officiating. Pallbearers will be Dan Arnold, Nicholas Arnold, Dylon Arnold, Darrid Mowles, Luther Stephens and Adam Cantrell. Honorary pallbearers Anthony Stephens and Tommy Stephens, Sr.
