Chad Wayne Thompson was born November 25, 1972 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Cheryl (McGill) and Elbert Wayne Thompson. He died at a local hospital on December 9, 2013 in Lawton, Oklahoma at the age of 41. Memorial services will be held 10:00 am, Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Whinery-Huddleston Chapel officiated by Pastor Walter Wilson.
He was raised in Lawton and Indiahoma, graduating from Indiahoma High School. During and after graduating from high school, he attended the Great Plains Technology Center. After completing the electrician course he worked for Heartland Satellite as an installation specialist and later worked for Dish Network. He started contracting for general maintenance and remodeling for various apartment complexes in the Lawton area. He enjoyed drawing in his free time. He also enjoyed fishing; a sport he learned from his father and grandfather. He valued the time he spent with his family. He was preceded in death by his father, Elbert Wayne Thompson.
He is survived by his two daughters, Lesa Thompson and Maddische Thompson, both of Lawton; mother, Cheryl Thompson, of Lawton; one brother, Christopher Thompson and Annie Muchado, of Lawton; three sisters, Lois Stoll of Wichita, KS, Ellen Maybray and her husband Jeff of Katy, TX, and Sylvia Jenkins and her husband Mark of Marlow, OK; four nephews: Steven Maybray of Katy, TX, Eliot Thompson of Lawton, Michael Floyd of Marlow, and Riley Thompson of Lawton; seven nieces: Lacey Stoll, of Wichita, KS, Angie Boles and her husband Mitch, of Marlow, Rachel Maybray, of Katy, TX, Katlyn Maybray of Katy, TX, Chloe Thompson of Lawton, Destany Muchado of Lawton, and Emily Thompson of Lawton. He also has many loving family members, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.
