Thomas Richard "Tommy" Thomas
March 20, 1949 ~ November 15, 2012

Tommy Thomas, 63, of Oklahoma City, departed this life on November 15, 2012. Tommy was born March 20, 1949 in Oklahoma City to Lloyd and Juanita (Tootsie) Thomas. He was a long-time resident of the Oklahoma City community. He graduated in 1967 from Del City High School and attended the University of Oklahoma and UCO until 1972.

Tommy worked in the automotive paint industry since he was 16 years old. Tommy was very involved in his family"s life coaching the soccer team for his son, Grant, and traveling across the U.S. attending swim meets for his son, Hogan. Tommy"s commitment to his family and friends and his personality endeared him to everyone he met.

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Diane, of the home; son, Hogan Thomas and his wife Jennifer and grandchild, Jackson of Oklahoma City; son, Grant Thomas of Oklahoma City; brother, Steve Thomas and Nora of Edmond; sister-in-law, Mary Bowring and husband Jim of Blanchard; many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.

Memorial donations may be made to Meals on Wheels, City Care or a charity of your choice.
