Ronnie Dean Thomas, age 62, of Nida, Oklahoma passed away April 24, 2020 surrounded by his family.
Ronnie was born to James (J. B.) and Evelyn Thomas on September 26,1957 in Earth, Texas. He attended and graduated school in Denison, Texas. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, farming and anything outdoors.
Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents J. B. and Evelyn Thomas, his sisters Pamela Kay Thomas and Kristi Lyn Guiou and his sister-in-law Mary Thomas.
Ronnie is survived by his children, Misty Thomas of Durant, OK, Matthew Thomas of Nida, OK, his granddaughters Jillian and Addison Parker of Durant, his brothers James Thomas and wife Sue of Durant, OK, Larry Thomas of Denison, TX and brother-in-law Brent Guiou of Terrell, TX, nephews Keith Giles, Josh Thomas, Robbie Thomas, Justin Guiou and Dakota Thomas, neices Ginger Jones, Rebecca Moody, Robin Giles, Jennifer Thomas, Amanda Guiou and a host of other family and friends.
A come and go viewing and family night will be held Friday, May 1 at Brown's Funeral Home from 5-8. A celebration of Ronnie's life will be held at a later date for family and friends. Honorary pallbearers are Judy Bond, Chris Martinez, Tara Hughes Carr, Michelle Samis, Mitchell Redden, Terry Whittall, JR Mathes, Eric Bow, E J Grant, and Jamie Thomas.
His children would like to send a special thank you to the wonderful staff at Centric Hospice and Southern Pointe Living Center for their care and support. Each of those who cared for him will always have our sincere appreciation for the love and respect they showed each and every day. We will be forever in your debt.
