Martin Wade Thomas departed this life on Saturday, September 28, 2024 surrounded by family at his home.
Martin was born on Thursday, December 29, 1966, in Ardmore, OK. Martin lived his younger life in Ardmore. At the age of 17, he joined the US Army and served his country. After completing some time in the Army, he began his career in the Oil Field industry. On a visit to family in California he met the love of his life, Beverly Barrett, at a BBQ. He knew within months he wanted to marry her and did in April of 1987. While living and working in California they had three boys. Then in 1992, decided to come back to Oklahoma to raise their family. For the last 17 years of his working career, Martin worked for Service King. Some of Martin’s favorite things to do were to go for a drive with Beverly, go out shooting with his boys, and spending time on adventures with his grandkids. His grandchildren became his world and loved getting to do fun things with them. Martin’s fun loving spirit will be missed.
