Judith A. McClung Thomas, 68 of Ponca City died August 23, 2016 at Stillwater Medical Center.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Grace Memorial Chapel.
The family suggest memorial contributions be made in her memory to Judith Karman Bristol Hospice , 915 S. Main, Stillwater 74074
Judith A. was born on September 9,1947, the daughter of Ernest R. and Flossie M. (Columbia) Gardner in Ponca City, OK . She was a graduate of Ponca City High School.
She married Jerry L. McClung in Ponca City where they made their home. To
this union 5 children were born. Jennifer McClung, Samantha (McClung) Leon,
Steven McClung, Wendy (McCLung)Hall and Shelly (McCLung) Lynch.
She is
best remembered by her job at Furr's Cafeteria and then later became a
Professional Truck Driver.
She later married Tommy Thomas on December 18, 1992 and they made their home in Florida. Tommy preceded her in death and she then moved back to Oklahoma.,
She loved to garden, go fishing, and play bingo and travel all over Florida.
Survivors include her five children, Jennifer McClung of Elk City, OK; Samantha Leon and husband Louis of Ponca City; Steven McClung and wife, Darletta, of Ponca City; Wendy Hall and husband Roger of Ponca City; Shelly Lynch and husband Ken, of Georgia.
Her Grandchildren Justin and Garrett and Jessica McClung; Desiree Root and Kyle Leon, Christopher and Morgan McCLung; Brandon Standifer, Lexy and Jake Hall, Kurtis Gorre; 11 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Sally Wright of Ponca City.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Tommy Thomas
