Guida Ramona (Hromas) Thomas
July 4, 1930 ~ September 7, 2014

Guida Ramona Hromas Thomas was born on July 4, 1930, in Enid, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Sunday, September 7, 2014, in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 84.

Guida, the daughter of Charles and Irene Scott Hromas, was a resident of Prague.

She married Windell �Bud� Thomas on February 15, 1949, in Enid, Oklahoma.

She earned her Master�s Degree from Central State College. She worked as a high school guidance counselor and math teacher at Prague High School for 18 years. She was a member of the Methodist church, a PEO with Chapter AF Prague, Retired Teachers Association and Eastern Star. She enjoyed traveling, especially taking trips to Colorado.

Her parents, sister, Majorie Shaughnessy, and brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Helen Hromas preceded Guida in death.

Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Windell �Bud� Thomas of the home; son, Phillip Thomas of Oklahoma City; daughters and son-in-law, Cyndi Thomas of Oklahoma City, Lyndi Thomas of Oklahoma City, Myndi Thomas of Oklahoma City and Wyndi and Jonathan Hobbs of Goldsby; two grandchildren, Hayden Elizabeth Hobbs and Justin Hobbs of Goldsby; other family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Rev. Randall Miller officiating.

Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
