Dorcas Jean Thomas, 79, of Thomasville, North Carolina, died November 16, 2018, under hospice care after a lengthy illness.
She was born on December 12, 1938, to George and Helen Cooper in Snyder, Oklahoma.
Jean attended Enid High School and played french horn in the band.
She worked civil service at Vance, Elmondorf and Kelly Air Force bases and at Fort Sam Houston.
Jean is survived by her sons, Greg McGee of Enid, Doug McGee and Todd Thomas of Thomasville, N.C.; 5 grandsons; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Bobby D Thomas.
Interment will be at a later date in Snyder, OK.
