Danny Lee Thomas passed from this life on Friday, January 29, 2021 at Blue River Healthcare in Tishomingo at the age of 55 years, 7 months, and 9 days. He was born on June 20, 1965 in Cherokee, Oklahoma to the late Jesse Thomas and Bertha (Chastain) Thomas.
Danny spent most of his younger life in Oklahoma City where he also attended school. He worked as an automotive mechanic for Reggie Houston Chevrolet in Oklahoma city before his health began to decline. Working on cars was considered to be more of a hobby than work to him.
Danny not only enjoyed working on cars, he loved fishing. There was more to Danny than met the eye. He was known to be an excellent boxer. He did some boxing in the 90's and even did a few commercials when the fights were held in Ada, Ok. He was an all around great person to be around. He was known to be a quiet person unless someone made him mad. Family and friends would say Danny was a good man and a great brother who will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by both parents; brothers, Jackie Roy Thomas, Andrew Thomas, Billy Ray Thomas, Elige Junior Thomas, and Richard Lee Thomas.
Those he leaves behind to cherish his memory are, daughter, Katy Jo
Thomas; brothers, Vacle Bill Thomas, Darryl Wayne Thomas, Earl Lonnie
Thomas, and Jesse Ray Thomas; sisters, Lavita Ann Thomas and Jo Ann Jones.
The family has requested cremation to honor Danny's final wishes. The Thomas
family plans to have a memorial service at a later date.
